“Dreaming in Color" is a new, one-of-a-kind couture jewelry collection from award-winning designer, Michael M, of Los Angeles. Michael and Peter Meksian, the owners and designers of Michael M, wanted to create a one-of-a-kind collection that begins with an extraordinary stone.

The elite collection showcases natural fancy colored diamonds and colorless diamonds in unusual cuts and facets set in 18 karat yellow or white gold and platinum. The designs are asymmetrical, as in life and nature. Adding to the collection’s unique look, settings feature finishes such as hammered and oxidized gold and milgrained engravings, which combine for unusual textures and shapes.

The father and son team desired the name and designs of their new collection to reflect the endless beauty and curiosity of nature. "Often," Michael believes, "Some of the most vivid, colorful, fanciful images occur during dreams. In a dream, there are no limits, no boundaries, and the unconscious mind can create breathtaking beauty." He continues, "I wanted to replicate this heightened awareness and fancifulness in my collection."

Ranging in price from $5,000 to $100,000 retail, the 30-piece collection is completely one-of-a-kind. Selected upscale, couture-oriented retailers will carry the limited collection.
